How much do you take to reply applications?
We usually take 24-48 hours, if you have not received a reply within 72 hours, submit a support ticket regarding your application.
Do I need to fill the form with my personal information?
No, you do not. Those fields are mandatory as our system requires them but you can made them up.
Do you provide free domains?
We do not provide free domain names at the moment.
Will you place pop ups in my sites?
No, we will not place pop ups. You must place Google Adsense codes we provide once your application is accepted.
How many ads do I need to place?
If you host a non-english site or your site is greater than 25 GB, you will ned to place two ads on the main site and just one on the rest of your fansite sections. If your site is in English and smaller than 15 GB you are able to place just one ad.
Can I upgrade from 25GB to Unlimited plan?
Yes, you will be able to do so through our client area, once you have upgraded you must place the two ads on the main site.
Where can I find your ads?
Ads code are sent on the application confirmation message but you can also find them here.
Can I place my own ads?
You can always use your ads but ours need to be more visible, we recommend to submit a support ticket before placing yours.
Do you guarantee %99.9 uptime?
Yes! We do.
Can I apply if I do not own the domain?
Yes, you can use our fan-star.org free subdomain.
If you own my domain can I buy it from you?
Yes, please submit a support ticket.
If you do not provide domain names why do you own some?
We used to offer free domain names.
Is e-mail feature enabled on DirectAdmin?
Yes, you can create custom e-mails.
Can I host my gallery here and my site in another host?
Yes, no problem! But we would love to have both hosted here!
Do you make backups of my sites?
Yes, full backups of your fansites will be taken on weekly basis in an storage server. Those backups will be avaliable for 4 weeks. However, You agree to take full responsibility for data hosted on your account and to maintain regular backup of all data that you host on our servers.
While we perform routine backup of your data, and provide a plugin in DA for convenient access to the backed up data, these backups are not meant to replace your own backups. The backups we carry out are solely meant for administrative purposes in the event of a disaster recovery.
There is no backup system that is insusceptible to failures, we cannot accept any responsibility should backups be unavailable for any reason including but not limited to software issue, data corruption and hardware failure.
I am an existing hosted, how can I contact you?
You can contact us from our client area anytime. if you are unable to login to our client area contact us here.
I was hosted here before, I moved my site(s) elsewhere but now I switched the DNS back to FS and my sites doesn’t work.
Our system checks every 10 days which sites are pointing to our IPs and which ones are not, so every ten days we remove sites that are not pointing to our server. If you want to be hosted again feel free to apply again, we will be able to migrate your account or you can ask to restore a backup.
I have lost my DirectAdmin password, how can I reset it?
For security reasons we have disabled password recovery from yoursite.com/DirectAdmin itself, if you have signed up in our client area you can change it from there, if not, contact us and we will send you a new one.
How many sites can I have?
You can have as many fansites as you want, though you must apply separately for each one.
Do I have to display a toolbar or crypto mining?
No, we do not have a toolbar nor crypto mining.
Can I host more sites under my DirectAdmin account?
No, you need send an application for each site. Hosting more than one site under your DirectAdmin account is completely forbidden.
